Do They Agree?

Mary Baker Eddy said that she discovered Christian Science through "a spiritual sense of the Scriptures and through the teachings of the Comforter." (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, 123:21-22) If this it true, Christian Science should clarify the Bible but should not contradict it.

Does Christian Science spiritually illuminate the Bible – or do its metaphysical interpretations actually change the Bible’s message? This question can be answered by comparing Mrs. Eddy’s writings to the Bible on several issues that most Christians consider central to Christianity.
