Did somebody tell you this person was rotting alive?

Cancer can do that. I know a couple of people who watched close relatives die horrible cancer deaths in CS, and they both spoke of the terrible odor related to what was obviously happening to the loved ones' skin.

Odor also often coincides with gangrene & anaerobic infections. Though bad breath is normally seen as rather innocuous, it can be caused by the gum & bone rotting infection known as gingivitis.

My CS grandmother lived with us during the last year of her life, as she was dying from untreated breast cancer. We, as children, were not allowed to have anyone over. The odor is something I will never forget. During all that time, we all just pretended it didn't exist. It was so sad, and so hard.

Hello

If you really believe that Jesus healed through hypnosis, wouldn't be so easy for all of us to learn this method and heal all the world's diseases?

What is extroardinary is the "contagion" of denial, that spreads outward from the diseased person.  People in that poor soul's circle(s) of family, friends, and acquaintances has to maintain an "pure spiritual atmosphere."  In otherwords, participate in an informal conspiracy of denial or, if you will, mass delusion.  So nobody says anything, and only the minimum of aid and comfort is rendered.

So tragic!

This also means protecting the patient from the malignancy of the general public's (e.g. workplace, neighborhood) "mortal mind," by participating in a system of euphemisms, excuses, and even outright lies.

So corrupting!

As people participate in all this, they become compromised and enmeshed in CS.  In a perverse way, they (families, friends, etc. of CS sufferers) become emotionally, psychologically, and spiritual "invested" in the CS currency, and thus less inclned to exit the system.
