Hello everyone,
I was talking with my wife this morning and she was explaining to me that her back was sore, muscle pain mostly, it took all I had in me to not say "there's nothing wrong with you its just Mortal Mind", but I did suggest that she take an Ibuprophen which she quickly balked at. I explained to her that the purpose of the medicine was to bring down the inflammation and allow the muscles to relax and get well. She still refused and then asked me to support her in her CS healing and I informed her that there was no chance of that happening. She then accused me of "mal practice" against her.
In the realm of mal practice I would first look to the CS practioner that charges money to help people fix their error. My 86 year old mother in law is in a nursing home suffering from the affects of old age and her body is getting ready to quit.
When my wife suggested that she wanted to bring in a CS practioner for her mother I suggested we could save a fortune if I just went in and told her that nothing is wrong with her and we would still end with the same result.
I would really like to know if there is any data on CS followers being diagnosed with treatable cancers and their survival rate against those who seek Modern medicine.

she was explaining to me that her back was sore, muscle pain mostly,... She then accused me of "mal practice" against her. Hmmm...if she was describing symptoms to you, it sounds like she was "making a reality" of her "false belief" as she described it to you. Sounds like she was malpracticing herself just as much as you were malpracticing her. I would really like to know if there is any data on CS followers being diagnosed with treatable cancers and their survival rate against those who seek Modern medicine. I don't know of any hard data on this. But the CS church did publish a special edition of the Sentinel in the fall of 1999 in order to highlight its success at healing cancer. The Sentinel had "Cancer -- Healed" across the front and was entirely devoted to the subject. But it only contained reports of five cancer healings that spanned about 20 years. IMHO, this tiny collection of healings actually highlighted CS's poor track record for healing cancer.
