Hi Linda,

In "The Da Vinci Code" thread you posted a link to a site that appears to have many great resources. There's a CS Page there with links to some Real Audio streams on Christian Way, the contents of which are the same as some of the six-tape series. These links are now dead.

I've sometimes thought it would be a good idea to have the tape series on CWay in mp3 or ram format. If this was the case in the past, as that webpage would indicate, could it be done again? I have the tapes, but the sound quality is a bit poor on a couple of them, especially on side 2 of the Elaine Dallas tape. I suppose online versions could be cleaner. Also it would be interesting to hear Carolyn Poole on the Bible Answer Man - not in the tape series but an old link on the page.

I agree the Dallas tape is very good. The reaction of my CS mother when she listened to it is that she'd like to hear it again - maybe to reassure herself there's nothing on it to challenge her - but she's reluctant to do so.

I'm surprised you haven't received the tape series if you have contacted Christian Way through the "Contact Us" page on the Web site. I'll check into it.

How does one get the tapes? I've followed the directions about asking for them via email a few times, but have had no response. Linda, what's the proper way to go about getting them? I must be doing something wrong . . . . . .

I really like Elaine Dallas' testimony too. I haven't given it to any CSists, so I don't know how they would react. I am in contact with someone, however, who is working hard to break free of CS and has found Elaine's tape helpful.

A while ago, I ordered the free tapes from the Christian Way. I haven't listened to them all yet, but I particularly liked the testimony of Elaine Dallas. It was a really thorough account of how she found her way out of CS, and I liked it because she sincerely loved CS and wanted it to be true. It reminds me of my mother. I am thinking about lending the tape to my mom and asking if she'd please listen to it and tell me what she thinks. Has anyone else done that?
