ok... back on topic ... here we go.
I called the tel# and actually reached a live person.
the building has been sold to The City Church, which may explain the lack of any remaining CS signage.
the church is now meeting at the UW CS Org building (a much smaller facility). Now what I can't figure out is why there's no signage there about anything except the Org's Thurs night informal meetings.
(so much for the "evidence" I'd gathered previously, huh?)
Okay.. we can likely lay this thread to rest (one I never dreamed would become controversial... sheesh )

It looks like it's being put to good use! btw, I've also recently been made aware that http://firstchurchseattle.com/ has moved out of its beautiful "sanctuary" to a storefront location. The structure is being preserved, though likely radically changed. In addition, I think that 7th church may be closing and joining with 1st. According to http://www.qahistory.org/ and other local news sources, that building's future is short lived.

Hello,
yes, Christian Science Churches are closing for good! The FIrst Church of CS in New York City located on Park Ave now is used for parties with Liquor License. First Church in NYC now is a Christian Church and Second Church now is Frist Church they split the green paper nicely. The Ten Church in the Village (NYC) i think they didn't know what to do. since they have only three people attending church. and this story goes on and on. You see the time will come will all CS will dissapear. And the real Chruch founded by Peter will be re-established again with prosperity and Jesus will be the Center.
