Please pray for Jason to open his eyes and his heart to see the lie that CS is. He is a 3rd generation CS, I am a born again believer and we have next to nothing we can agree on in discussing religion. Both his parents died of cancer, and they eventually sought out medical treatment. How is it that many CSers eventually seek out doctors? I just don't get it, along with all the twisted theology of the "revered" MBE. Don't understand how she is almost deified as well. I suppose I am on a rant. Nothing seems to make sense, and CS seems to be for deep thinkers - what happens to them when they start to age and don't think as well?
I am praying and have been for years for him to see the differences, but his back is up against being shown any of these discussions, as he just says you are all "out to get" CS. I'm hoping the church can't supress more and more bad publicity. Why don't they see that they are closing churches all over? My husband's church "let in" one new member last year, and several died. They have a grand total of no more than 40 people who come regularly. For a religion that caters to very intelligent people, I don't understand at all why they can't see the Lord's writing on the wall!

Some of us deeply loved CS. We left not out of anger, but out of necessity when we saw that CS teachings contradict the Bible. We reach out to Christain Scientists because we care about them, not because we are "out to get" them.
I pray that Jason will be willing to look at the Christian Science and the Bible section of the web site, even if he wants nothing to do with the discussion forum. I also pray that he will find the Jesus of the Bible if he still needs to do that.
