I was just looking at the last link about the disbanded CS church who left $40K to some charitable organizations. It brought up the question, if Christian Scientists consider themselves followers of Christ, why is it that there is no charitable activities sponosred or organized or managed by the TMC? No orphanages? No food banks? Nothing that I can see? Where does all of their not for profit money go? How can they consider themselves a legitimate Christian group without charity and outreach being one of their main activities?

| I agree!! Where are the food pantries? Prison Ministry? Aid to the poor? I mean, the CS church has NO social outreach!! How can this be a CHRISTian church with absolutely no emphasis placed on reching out to those who need it? Even Mrs. Eddy, before she became mega-rich with S&H, had to be taken in by others. This is really one of the reasons I stopped believing in the Christian Science church.
