| He was in my graduating class at the College and I didn't know he passed on. What a shock! I just learned another classmate of mine (a year behind) me who I went on several Abroad trips with also died suddenly this summer. It's always hard to read the In Memoriam part of the Purpose. And as you said it's very very hush in CS how people die.

| Anonymous, I gather you're doing research for school and are quite unfamiliar with CS. Trying to gain your first understanding of CS through the issues at CS present lots of problems. You're grappling with CS through several degrees of issues. I suggest that you go to the Christian Way's home page and look through the various articles. You'll find that we CW's are decidedly Ex-Christian Science. We each have a combination of complaints with the religion, which involve some mix of theological, intellectual, personal, and practical matters. Those articles and testimonies will give you a good start. You might want to leave off the Principia matters for the time being.

| A US 70's grad, So sorry, but as moderator I've decided not to allow the posts you made earlier today. Nothing personal -- it's just that I think it's time to end this discussion. In an attempt to avoid gossip and allegations that can't be proven and involve specific people, we moderators have had to gut a couple of the recent posts on this thread. What you're saying might be true, but we're concerned about posting it without proof. I'm going to close this thread, but if you would like to post an e-mail address where people can contact you privately about the issues you want to address, I would be happy to post the address for you. Just send me a private message with the information. (Keep in mind that, unless you register and send your message from your registered username, I won't be able to respond to your private message.)
