I'm not sure I knew that you and your husband had separated -- sorry to hear that. I'm glad he has gotten some help but, like you, I'm dismayed that he would then stop the care and suffer a major decline. It's frustrating to watch that happen -- it's so pointless and often catastrophic. This issue is close to my heart right now (no pun intended), as my brother is currenlty in the hospital being treated for heart failure. He wouldn't have made it through last week if he hadn't gotten care when he did.
