Here is a site to an article regarding an account of a child whose parents relied on Christian Science and the end result. As an adult she sought treatment but the experience is another example of the dangers of the religion.

Very sad story, but I'm glad Liz is moving on with her new leg.

It's too bad that she has decided that God doesn't exist; God often gets blamed for problems created by people. And then people find their "spirituality" in things created by God even while denying his existence. We live in a messed up world.
