Someone mentioned in passing that The Mother Church has done some shifting around of its offices and moved people out of one of the buildings in the Back Bay complex so that they could rent it out and generate some new revenue. Does anyone know anything about this or have any details? My friend wasn't sure what all had transpired. They also said TMC lost the underground parking as part of the deal. Would like to know more information.

| More info has been posted on the Forum, but I don't have the time to search right now. The essence is this: TMC laid off about 1/3 of its staff, and relocated them in the "Publishing Society" building, which now houses the MBE Library. It was formerly known as "One Norway Street," but is now addressed as "210 Massachusetts Ave." Both the high rise ("Administration Building," 110 Huntington Ave) and "the Colonnade" (Belvedere Street) have been vacated, and a marketing company was contracted to find and lease to tenants. Your statement that they lost the garage is the first I've heard of that. Since I'm in Boston, maybe I can dig up some info. This is all part of the impending implosion of institutional CS that I have been expecting, although I thought it would have occurred already: dwindling church membership, divisions and splinter groups, combined with a top-heavy wealth of financial assets and cash flow. Truly, a recipe for financial skullduggery!
