I think it is important to READ the book. Take for example the words of Revelation 22: 18 and 19:

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

That seems pretty plain to me. I hope to remain plague-free if at all possible!

Now I know that you could take this to mean just the book of Revelation, but Mrs. Eddy seemed to do a lot of "inspired writing" when it came to that book as well. And I believe that if such warnings were spoken over the book of Revelation, they would probably be inclusive of the remaining books of the Bible -- God's Holy word! Do you agree?

Or perhaps you do like what the Bible says, so you come up with a glossary that redefines Mrs. Eddy's words so that they agree with the Bible.

A great idea, Linda!! Maybe we could call it the "Key to Christian Science" (as the Holy Spirit sees it)!?

Enjoy,

John
