CS proud,
Good for you for taking your children's temperature and being aware of what is happening to them. I'll give you credit for that!
As for the 120 thousand, now that's what I call hearsay. Can you prove it? (I would guess that would be probably quadrupling the current membership.)
It was my spouse's first cousin so it wasn't third cousin's girlfriend, etc. I'm the one LOL now.
By the way, I wish you a more restful night tonight. Your mortal body needs it (I know how it is not having slept after my child was ill).

| Yes I can prove it. be it that most of the apps will not be approved since they were only filled to avoid the H1N1 vaccine. i will post a site to the mother church that shows the increase in aps.

We are way off topic here. Your comments are very welcome and interesting. Could you please consider creating a new topic so the discussions can continue?

| Yes I belive your right. I am sorry to be defensive but the first time I posted I was replied to saying that I torture my childern. just made be a bit upset and I really did not mean to come off as someone nasty or rude, I would like to start over. My name is Etta and I am 29 I have a husband and two wonderful boys. I grew up in a baptist religion. I lived in foster care where I was able to experince many diff religions 32 homes 32 churches. I had a hard time turning away from what I had known growing up. Such as wanting to run to a doctor with ever ill. I have seen over the 8 years of my life lots of miracles and healing and truly belive god is that powerful and amazing. I have always known God was with me. I would never say that anyone's religion is wrong, I think god reveals himself to each of us in different ways. I just found that C.S is a blessing in my life and has taught me a deeper meaning to spiritual. I hope If I offended anyone they know i am sorry. I hope to hear many topics and veiws in this group.

CS Proud,
Welcome.
So, lets take that 120 thousand number posted and remove the ones that are not serious (i.e. to avoid the vaccine). So, what is the real number of applicants truly interested in entering CS?

Linda (9/23/2009)
Both my boys started the other day with 104.3 temps and with his divine love I am happy to say both attended school and are now fine. Sorry -- but that's the kind of torure that many of the former CSists I know went through as kids. Kids play the "I feel fine" game when they think they have to or when they think it will bring healing, but that doesn't mean they aren't suffering as they do it. And I can't help wondering how many kids at school caught the "false belief" that your kids carried to school along with their fevers. Staying home from school was NOT an option for me, I went to school many days with fever. What was even worse was staying home, I had to lay in bed and listen to cassette tapes of my practitioner mothers voice reading the lesson in that sing song CS dialect, seriously it was torture. Oh and the guilt for not being gods perfect child and letting error in. Yuck, still gives me shivers just thinking about it. When my kids are sick they get tylenol, ice cream, and cartoon network. No shame, no guilt just lots of love and tlc.
Some of my worse childhood memories where of our family vacations and my intense car sickness. The anxiety leading up to the trips, I spent hours knowing the truth before hand only to fail miserably, I would vomit for 10 hours straight I would spend the whole vacation recovering only to do it all over again on the way home. Even my brother who is sympathetic to CS cant deny my car sickness. My car sickness made the trips miserable for the whole family, WHY I couldn't have had a simple dramine is neglect in my eyes.

C.S and proud (9/23/2009) The lord did not allow them to suffer there is no suffer only love in our home. My son went to school had a wonderful day played ball with his dad at the bus stop, I do think that is a lot less torture then having your body hyped up on temporary relief. Why do you think medicine has side effects? Because it is mortal and while it might temporarily relive discomfort it causes the body to withdraw addictions and I am speaking from my own personal experience. I belive it was true love that took care of my boys. they did not lay in a room and suffer. they were held and placed in cool showers given the attention the needed. I slept 45 min last night but to the relief of my 3 year old happy and healthy and perfect the way we were all made. My little one officially slept on my forehead.lol I mean we are good parents who love our childern so very much and to say the word torture you don't want to have a discussion but object your opinions in a aggressive judgemental way and no matter what religion you practice I would think God would frown on that behavior. We are all his Children. People get so wrapped up on the medical sterotypes of C.S and overlook the love. To be the one who can touch the fringes of him and be healed by faith, to be given his virtue is a amazing thing. To be a living testomy. I do belive this is what the bible leadds us to do. As far as mbe I do not worship her. I take the science and health as nothing more than her own living testomoniy. Everyone has been touched by his grace she was merly explaining her perception of belife. There was always talk of LOVE in my home, but I never experienced it.
