The Internet offers quite a few useful resources for Bible and other study. Thought I'd share a few that I use and hope to learn of some others.
Bible Search Engine I like BibleGateway.com (www.biblegateway.com) because it provides easy passage and key word access to about 16 English translations of the Bible including KJV, NIV, and ESV. It also provides a large print option, audio, and foreign languages.
Dictionaries, etc. Bartleby.com (www.bartleby.com) provides access to two versions of Roget's Thesaurus. the American Heritage College Dictionary, Strunk's Elements of Style, and several other standard reference works.
Merriam-Webster Online Language Center (www.merriam-webster.com) provides free and member access to various dictionaries, a thesaurus, and other reference works.
Atlas The CIA provides an excellent, easy-to-use reference for current geographical information - World Fact Book (www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/index.html).
Information Portal Matt Drudge's father runs RefDesk (www.refdesk.com).
S&H, etc. Spirituality.com provides a search engine for S&H, KJV, and Retrospection and Introspection (www.spirituality.com/dt/toc_SH.jhtml).

What would really be useful in accessing MBE's works would be a complete "authorized works" concordance. Some of the more ....er, ....extraordinary stuff she wrote is in Prose Works. I wonder if anybody has ever assenbled a topical concordance, like Cruden's, on her work(s). Now THAT would be a fascinating resource!
I have an old, soft-floppy "Concord," the complete concordance utility...I wonder if there are services that would convert it to CD for a reasonable price. Or does anybody have a "Concord" out there to donate to a "student of Christian Science".....me?
I've been using BibleGateway.com since you posted it on another thread. Very constructive posting, and thanks!

| I don't know the latest prices but the Concord Software can be gotten for about $99 when its on sale. Yes, the CS Reading Rooms actually have sales but for some strange reason they don't advertise them. You might even be able to pick up a bargain on Ebay or half.com.

For what it's worth, my crude but effective method of searching in Prose Works is as follows:
1) Paste the line below into the text box on the Google search page, and press Search.
"Prose Works" site:http://christiansciencebooks.rolf-witzsche.com
2) Bookmark the results page, (or put in your scrapbook). (The text "Prose Works" just serves as a label.)
3) Next time you want to locate a particular word or phrase in PW, pull up this page, replace "Prose Works" with your search text, eliminating the quotes if the exact phrase is not known, and do the search.

I came acros this interesting research site, Tektonics.org. Lots of stuff and multiple search engines.
Moderator: Why don't you look through their material, and consider adding it to the links button?

I just came across a great Bible resource: translations, search machines, commentaries, dictionaries, etc. And although the format looks confusing and cluttered, it's quite user-friendly
e-sword.net
Check it out! I like this guy's motto: "fighting Biblical illteracy, one downloat at a time"
For anybody doing secular research in world affairs, the CIA has a helpful reference site, "The CIA World Factbook." I just thought that might be of interest to someone out there.
