followingHim,
I urge great caution in getting involved in Purpose-Driven Life ...
I agree with urging caution. I've heard that the original book, The Purpose Driven Life, has been very good for very many people when applied on an individual level. What causes me to agree are the stories of divided churches resulting from the subsequent books and trying to apply it on church-wide levels.
While I have the book, I'm therefore reluctant to work through it as I've seen some minor negative impacts in my own church.
As with any extra-Scriptual work, it must be compared to the real thing to ensure compliance with God's word.
