Hello Anonymous!!!
We are pleased you have found us. Welcome!!!
Thank you also for sharing your experience. When you say you were healed, I am ready to say that indeed you were. Having spent my youth in CS Sunday School. I know that healings took place in CS.
A quick question: Do you believe that the healings you cite establish or prove in themselves that Christian Science is true?
Many thanks.

Dear Anon,
Welcome to this forum!
Similar to you, I found CS when I was an adult, at 27; then I thought it was just great and everything made sense and I was a most consistent student of CS, class taught, SS teacher, and applying it to all walks of life.
It was when I wanted to study it very thoroughly, and turned to the bible for that (and MBE claims that she had it from the bible, and that CS is bible-based, so studying the bible must be in line with CS), that more and more inconsistencies came up which I could not ignore while striving to understand it. I, too, had a few healings, but looking back to them I do not believe it was healings based on the CS understanding but rather based on faithfully trusting God and asking him to intervene. In fact, whenever I tried to "unsee" the physical evidence, I did not have a healing, but when I cried to God telling him I was suffering from so and so and asking him for his help, my prayer was answered.
This led me to leaving CS eventually, when I turned 40, and to embrace Jesus Christ as my saviour when I was 42, in other words, 13 years during which I was a dedicated and fully believing CS.
